The Best Movie of the Year (so far): District 9

At last. The best movie of the year. Definitely it is District 9!

This is not a typical alien movie. Aliens that have no choice but to live on earth for no clear reason is definitely a fresh idea. This is not Men In Black, this is real. This is what will happen if they were to live among us.

The movie tells us that alien and human are not the same, in a different kind of ways. Human being usual are greedy for power, hiding behind our fake humanity and take advantage of what lies in front of us - the aliens technology. Aliens on the other hand (aliens featured in the movie are categorized as a group of "worker" which come to assumption that they might function like ants - in colony) are not like human, without their leader they are nothing and can't do anything. What I can say is, with their advanced DNA-based weaponry and technology, they can just kill us all and take over the world. But nope, they just live their life in a slum (which I think that they just don't care) and continue living without a purpose.

But again, not all human are the same. There are good people and bad people. And same goes to those aliens, where there still a genius among them who care about their species and had been working out his plan for 20 freaking years to go back to where they came from. Somehow, these two characters (the good person and the genius ET) met and this is where it all started.

Extra credits are given for graphics, human explosion, cute little alien kid and Wikus in robot suit catching a flying bazooka.
